Used and surplus fixture plates for sale. MRO Exchange carries a rotating selection of CNC fixture plates and tooling plates available for immediate purchase and fast nationwide shipping.
Fixture plates are the reference layer between the machine table and the workholding or fixturing system built on top of it. A precision-drilled grid of threaded and reamed holes provides the attachment and locating points for clamps, pins, vises, and custom fixture components. Every setup built on a fixture plate inherits its accuracy from the plate itself — hole position tolerance, flatness, and surface finish are the specifications that determine how precisely and repeatably a fixture plate locates the components mounted to it.
New fixture plates from precision tooling manufacturers represent a significant investment, particularly in larger sizes and tighter positional tolerances. Shops building dedicated production fixtures, adding fixturing capacity to existing machines, or equipping secondary machines for overflow work are consistent buyers of surplus fixture plates precisely because the functional performance of a surplus plate in good condition matches new at a fraction of the cost.
Confirm the overall plate dimensions, hole grid pattern, hole size and thread specification, and material against your application requirements before purchasing. Aluminum fixture plates are the most common for general CNC applications due to their weight and machinability. Steel plates are used in heavy cutting and high-clamping-force applications where aluminum would deform under load.
Every fixture plate listed on MRO Exchange ships nationwide from our facility in Illinois at prices well below new distributor cost.
