A heavy-duty custom fabricated steel machining fixture designed to hold large round or cylindrical workpieces during machining operations. The assembly consists of a two-piece bolted ring cradle with four outboard mounting arms, multiple threaded clamping stud locations distributed around the bore perimeter, and a separate steel base plate with alignment pins and T-slot compatible mounting holes. Construction is welded and machined steel throughout with a painted exterior. The circular bore opening measures approximately 30 in. inside diameter based on visible measurement in the provided photos. The base plate adds significant rigidity and provides a stable mounting interface to a machine table or floor-mounted setup. Locating pins are visible on the base plate to facilitate repeatable positioning. Four swing-style clamping studs are mounted at the cardinal positions around the ring bore to secure a workpiece within the cradle. The overall footprint of the assembly as configured on the pallet is approximately 36 in. square. No manufacturer nameplate or part number markings are visible on this item. The fixture is intended for large-bore turning, boring, or milling applications where a cylindrical or round workpiece must be fixtured outside of a standard lathe chuck or rotary table. This type of custom workholding solution is commonly used in heavy equipment manufacturing, pump and valve machining, motor frame machining, and similar large-component production environments.
