The ABB Jokab Safety BSR23 is a Sentry series safety expansion relay designed to increase the number of safe outputs on an existing safety relay or safety PLC. Part number 2TLA010041R0600, this unit features 4 normally open and 1 normally closed relay output contacts with screw terminals and a 24 VDC supply voltage. It mounts on standard 35 mm DIN rail and carries an IP20 enclosure rating. The BSR23 is rated for performance level PLe and SIL3 in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1, IEC 62061, and IEC 61508, making it suitable for Category 4 safety architectures. Operating temperature range is confirmed at minus 10 degrees C to plus 55 degrees C. Certifications visible on the unit and packaging include UL, TUV, and CE. Made in Germany. The unit is presented in its original retail packaging with warranty seal intact and includes the original multilingual instruction sheet. Relay contact ratings per nameplate are 4 A fuse, 250 VAC AC1 and AC15, with 24 VDC and 230 VDC DC1 ratings also shown. Terminal designations A1, A2, R1, R2, X1, X2 for control inputs and 13/14 through 43/44 plus 51/52 for relay outputs are labeled on the front face.
