Product Description

Allen-Bradley CompactLogix 1768-L43 PLC system listed as a multi-module used surplus lot. The system includes the 1768-PA3 power supply, the 1768-ENBT/A EtherNet/IP communication module, the 1768-L43 CompactLogix 5343 controller (2 MB user memory, RS-232 serial, discontinued June 2020), one or more 1769-series I/O modules, and the 1769-ECR right end cap/terminator (Series A, DIR/VER 95320733/05, manufactured October 2012 at Facility 7M, Malaysia).

The 1768-L43 controller supports up to two 1768 backplane communication modules and up to 16 local and remote 1769 Compact I/O modules. The 1768-ENBT/A module provides EtherNet/IP connectivity. The 1769-ECR end cap is rated for Class I Division 2 Group A, B, C, D hazardous locations (UL 47AM listed) with an operating temperature code of T3C.

Note: The controller nameplate label in available photos appears to read "CAT 1765-L43," however the label also states "CompactLogix L43 Memory Controller" and the 1768-ENBT module visible in the system is exclusively compatible with 1768-series CompactLogix controllers. The controller is identified as a 1768-L43 based on system composition. Buyers should verify the controller catalog number directly from the nameplate prior to purchase.
