Product Description

The Allen-Bradley Guardmaster MSR 55P is a back EMF standstill monitoring safety relay identified by catalog number 440R-S35014, Series A. Manufactured by Rockwell Automation and made in Germany, this unit operates on a 24V DC, 3W supply and monitors motor standstill by measuring the induced back EMF voltage across two redundant channels. When both channels simultaneously detect a voltage drop to zero, the output relay energizes to indicate standstill. The adjustable voltage threshold accommodates different motor types, and the adjustable delay time (Ts) allows integration across a range of applications.

The contact output configuration consists of 3 N.O. safety contacts and 1 N.C. auxiliary contact, rated B 300 pilot duty. At 40°C, contacts are rated 5A 250Vac G.P. and 5A 24Vdc; at 60°C, ratings are 2A 250Vac G.P. and 2A 24Vdc. The unit carries UL Listing for industrial control equipment (4B51), CE marking, EAC certification, and TÜV certification as visible on the nameplate.
