The Allen-Bradley 1771-IA is an 8-point digital AC input module designed for use with the Allen-Bradley 1771 Universal I/O system. Carrying catalog number 1771-IA and rated at 120V AC/DC, 50/60 Hz, this module accepts inputs from ON/OFF field devices including limit switches, pushbuttons, and other discrete sensors. The module features a 7 mA backplane current draw and is compatible with Allen-Bradley programmable controllers utilizing the 1771 I/O chassis, excluding the 1771-A1, 1771-A2, and 1771-A4 chassis. Terminal identification labels on the faceplate identify eight individual input terminals (Input 0 through Input 7) plus the L2 common terminal. A module active indicator confirms 5 VDC backplane power, while individual red status LEDs provide logic-side input state indication for each channel. The unit bears serial number A0942573 and is manufactured in the U.S.A. by Allen-Bradley Co., Programmable Controller Systems Division, Cleveland, Ohio. UL listed when used with a listed system per the visible UL mark. The 1771-IA has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is available as surplus.
