This is a single-axis, pulse width modulated servo controller designed for closed-loop positioning systems that require precise position and motion control of linear or rotary machine members.

The nameplate specifies an AC input of 230V, 3-phase, 50/60 Hz at 38 amps, with a control transformer input of 36V, single-phase, at 5.5 amps. AC output is rated at 210V, 3-phase, 0 to 200 Hz, 45 amps, 14 kW. The maximum symmetrical RMS short circuit current rating is 1300 amps. Per manufacturer published specifications, the unit provides a nominal 300V DC power bus output, with continuous current of 45A RMS and peak current of 90A RMS, corresponding to 15 kW continuous and 30 kW peak output power.

The 1391B-AA45 includes an integral circuit breaker rated at 38A RMS that opens all three AC line leads under power circuit short conditions. An internal shunt regulator is included as part of the power bus supply module.
