The Allen-Bradley 1771-IFE is a 12-bit analog input module designed for use in PLC-5 rack-based control systems. Cat. No. 1771-IFE, manufactured by Allen-Bradley Co. and made in the USA, this module supports 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog input channels with voltage or current input capability. Backplane power requirements are 0.75 amps at 5 VDC, and the module communicates via block transfer interface. The terminal identification label on the front face maps 21 terminals covering inputs 1 through 16 in both single-ended and differential configurations, with multiple module common connections distributed throughout. The front bezel includes RUN and FLT status indicators on a red label, and the gold-pin backplane connector is intact. Series A with firmware revision visible on the internal label; exact firmware revision characters are partially obscured on the nameplate sticker. This part number was discontinued by the manufacturer in 2017 and is no longer available through authorized distribution channels. The module is a single-slot, rack-mount assembly compatible with 1771 I/O chassis configurations. No external power supply is required for operation.
