The Allen-Bradley ArmorStart 280D-F12Z-10C-GRW-3-P1 is a distributed motor starter combining a full-voltage motor starter with an integrated DeviceNet communication interface in a single IP 67 rated enclosure. Catalog number 280D-F12Z-10C-GRW-3-P1, Series C, Serial Number 1EB3544D, Mat No 280D-F12Z-S0418 C. Control voltage is 24V DC with a coil inrush of 0.8A. Power ratings cover 200V/1 HP, 230V/1 HP, 460V/3 HP, and 575V/3 HP, with kW ratings of 1.1 kW at 230V and 2.2 kW at 400V. Current range is 1.1 to 5.5A with overload class settings of 10, 15, and 20. The unit includes an integrated I/O block with DNet (DeviceNet) connectivity, visible input and output indicators, Hand/Auto/Off selector, Power, Run, Network, and Fault status indicators, and a Reset pushbutton. Enclosure rating is UL Type 4/12/13 and IP 67, suitable for wash-down and harsh industrial environments. Certifications include UL Listed A191, CE, CCC, EN 60947-1, EN 60947-4-1, and Pollution Degree 3. The ArmorStart 280 series has been discontinued by Rockwell Automation as of October 2024, increasing surplus market demand for replacement units. Unit is offered as removed from service.
