The Allen-Bradley 1756-CNB/E is a ControlNet Communications Bridge Module from the ControlLogix family, identified by part number 96469875 A01 and Series E hardware with firmware revision 11.002. Designed to interface a ControlLogix chassis with a ControlNet network, this single channel bridge module routes scheduled and unscheduled data between the ControlLogix backplane and the ControlNet highway, supporting up to 64 bidirectional connections and up to 99 network nodes at a communication rate of 5 Mbps. The module includes one BNC connector for non redundant ControlNet media and one NAP (Network Access Port) RJ45 8 pin shielded connector for service tool access.
