The Allen Bradley 1756-DMD30 is a ControlLogix Drive Module designed as the SD3000 interface for Reliance Electric Distributed Power System (DPS) drive equipment. This single slot module installs in a 1756 ControlLogix chassis and interfaces with individual Power Module Interface (PMI) chassis to perform outer torque, position, and velocity control loops. It operates with SD3000 6 Pulse DC drives (S6 and S6R) and SD3000 12 Pulse DC drives (S12 and S12R), communicating to SynchLink nodes through fiber optic connections at 5 Mbps SynchLink and 10 Mbps Drive Communication speeds. Power is supplied through the ControlLogix backplane at 1.35 A at 5.1V DC and 3.0 mA at 24V DC, with peak module power dissipation of 6.96 W and thermal dissipation of 23.7 BTU per hour. Green and red LED indicators provide operation, status, and diagnostic feedback. The catalog number is 1756-DMD30, Series A, part number 96388880, with packaging label part numbers 96388890 and 96388880, S/W F/W revision 2.04, serial number 01554408, and package date 04/15/08.
