The Allen-Bradley 1756-ENBT is a ControlLogix EtherNet/IP communication bridge module from Series A, catalog revision L01, with part numbers 96486481 and 96486471, revision A01, and S/W F/W revision 3.6. Packaged on 02/14/05 at the Twinsburg facility (MFG. LOC. TWB) and made in the U.S.A., this module is offered in its original factory sealed Allen-Bradley packaging. The 1756-ENBT provides a single RJ45 port for connecting a ControlLogix chassis to an EtherNet/IP network at 10/100 Mbps in half or full duplex. It supports up to 64 TCP/IP connections and 128 Logix connections for I/O and information exchange, with a maximum of 32 multicast tags. Typical applications include high speed processor interlocking, distributed I/O control, and routing to devices on a different NetLinx network using EtherNet/IP as a backbone. The module installs in any slot of a 1756 ControlLogix chassis and draws 700 mA at 5.1 VDC and 3 mA at 24 VDC, with a power dissipation rating of 3.7 W. It is web enabled, allowing access to module diagnostics, IP configuration, subnet, gateway, Ethernet address, uptime, and connection statistics through a standard web browser. The 1756-ENBT can also operate as a remote I/O adapter when placed in a remote chassis. Rockwell Automation discontinued this catalog number on December 31, 2021, and identifies the 1756-EN2T as the functional replacement. Original UPC 10612598269485, packer code E77252.
