The Allen-Bradley 1794-VHSC is a Flex I/O Very High Speed Counter Module manufactured by Rockwell Automation, identified by catalog number 1794-VHSC, Series A. This intelligent input/output module provides high speed counting functions for the Flex I/O platform and connects to compatible programmable controllers across the 1794 family. The module features 2 input channels with 2 counters per channel, configurable for 3 encoder modes, and supports input terminations rated at 5V DC or 15 to 24V DC. Input frequency is rated up to 1 MHz for single phase inputs. The 1794-VHSC has 4 isolated outputs arranged in 2 groups, rated 0.5A at 5V DC and 1.0A at 12 to 24V DC. External power supply is 24V DC nominal with a supply range of 19.2 to 31.2V DC at 100 mA. Flexbus current draw is 75 mA at 5V DC.
