The Allen-Bradley 1771-IAD B is a 16-point discrete input module designed for use in Rockwell Automation PLC-5 control systems. Catalog number 1771-IAD B, the module accepts 120V AC and 125V DC input signals at 50/60 Hz and draws 195 mA (per nameplate: 250 mA) at 5V DC from the backplane. It is compatible with 1771-A1B, A2B, A3B, A3B1, A4B, 1771-AM1, and AM2 I/O chassis. The module interfaces discrete field devices including pushbuttons, limit switches, auxiliary contacts from relays and motor starters, and other on/off sensors. Its 16 input channels accommodate a range of industrial field wiring configurations, and terminal identification labels on the faceplate designate INPUT 00 through INPUT 17 with L2 common. A notice label on the cover indicates jumper configuration for Last State (LS) or Reset behavior.
