Product Description
The Allen-Bradley 140G-N6H3-E12-Z1 is a Bulletin 140G N-Frame molded case circuit breaker, three pole, rated 1,200A at 600V AC, 50/60 Hz, with a 40°C ambient rating. The rating plug is an N-NS-R at In = 1200A. UL 489 and CSA C22.2 No. 5 interrupting ratings are 100 kA at 240V, 65 kA at 480V and 50 kA at 600V. Under IEC 60947-2 the nameplate lists Icu of 100, 70, 65, 50 and 42 kA at 230, 415, 440, 500 and 690V, with Ics of 100, 70, 65, 50 and 32 kA at the same voltages.
Protection is by an electronic LSI trip unit, part number CC701012336, trip unit serial 0X021. The front face carries DIP switch adjustment for long time pickup from 0.4 to 1 times In with a delay of 3, 6, 12 or 18 seconds at six times the setting; short time pickup from off through 0.6 to 10 times In with a delay of 0.1, 0.25, 0.5 or 0.8 seconds; and instantaneous pickup from off through 1.5 to 12 times In. Neutral protection is selectable at off, 50%, 100% or 200% of In, and the trip unit has a 50/60 Hz frequency selector and a test port.
Terminations are rated for Cu/Al conductors at 75°C only, with a wire range of 4/0 to 500 kcmil and a torque specification of 380 lb-in. The matching terminal lug catalog numbers shown on the nameplate are 140G-N-TLC43 and 140G-N-TLA43. The breaker is HACR type and carries UL file E107878, CSA LR1234, CE, CCC and EAC marks.
