Product Description

This is an Allen-Bradley 509-DOD motor starter. The nameplate reads CAT 509-DOD, Series A, Max. Ratings P. PH. 3-5 Pole, 200V 25 HP, and 460-575V 50 HP, with a max 600V AC continuous line that is partly smeared. UL, CSA, and CE marks are printed on the plate, along with Assembled in Mexico. The 230V rating, size, and maximum amp rating are smudged on this plate, so they are listed per the plate on another 509-DOD Series A unit. No serial number or coil voltage is shown in the photo.

The nameplate is heavily smeared with dark residue and wear marks. The housing is black with slotted screws at the top, and dirt is visible on the plastic body around the plate.

Sold as surplus, untested. This unit has not been powered on or tested by MRO Exchange, and the contacts, coil, and overload components have not been verified.
