The Allen-Bradley 592-JOV16 is a Bulletin 592 NEMA eutectic alloy overload relay rated for 24 amps maximum continuous current across three poles. Series B. This open type relay features manual reset operation and is intended for panel mounting alongside NEMA Size 00 Series B and D Bulletin 500 line starters, or as a separate panel mount component. The unit carries one normally closed auxiliary contact and is configured for use with the heater element shown in the listing photos. Control circuit ratings are NEMA A600, with an input voltage range of 120 to 600 VAC, make rating of 7200 VA, and break rating of 720 VA. Terminal connections are screw type, labeled 1L1, 3L2, 5L3 on the line side and 2T1, 4T2, 6T3 on the load side. Auxiliary contact terminals are marked 95, 96, and 98. The unit includes a visible trip indicator and a "Push Red to Test Circuit" function for verifying overload trip operation. Certifications include UL Listed, CSA, and CE. Assembled in Mexico. Suitable for use as a thermal overload protection component in motor control circuits where overcurrent protection is required for motor windings and associated wiring.
