The Allen-Bradley 509-BOD is a NEMA Size 1 full voltage non-reversing motor starter from Rockwell Automation's Bulletin 509 line. This unit ships as new surplus in the original factory carton with the 592-EUTB eutectic alloy overload relay packaged separately inside the same box, along with the original installation instructions and heater element selection table (Table 150). The starter is rated for 600VAC maximum, 3 phase operation, with a 115/120V AC coil at 60Hz (110V at 50Hz). Continuous current rating is 27 amps. Maximum horsepower ratings include 7.5 HP at 200VAC, 7.5 HP at 230VAC, 10 HP at 460VAC, and 10 HP at 575VAC. The 592-EUTB overload relay is configured for NEMA Size 0-1 applications and uses field installable eutectic alloy heater elements (sold separately, sized per motor full load amps using Rockwell Table 150). The assembly is an open type design without enclosure, suitable for panel mounting inside a customer supplied enclosure or motor control center bucket. Carries UL, cUL, and CE markings. Manufactured at Rockwell Plant 1040 in Mexico. Series A overload relay paired with Series 1 starter. Part number 509-BOD with material number PN-76741 on the starter carton and PN-66619 on the overload relay carton. Suitable for general purpose motor branch circuit control where separate short circuit and ground fault protection is provided upstream. Manual reset overload with visible tripped indicator.
