Product Description

This is an Allen-Bradley 509-BOD NEMA Size 1 motor starter. The starter carton label reads Bulletin 509, 500 LINE MODULAR, NEMA SIZE 1, CAT 509-BOD, SER 1, PRODUCT OF MEXICO, PLANT 1040 and PN-76741, with UL and CE marks. The starter nameplate reads 509-BOD, NEMA SIZE 1 and 27 AMP MAX. CONTINUOUS 600VAC MAX., with a CE mark. The rest of the nameplate, including the ratings table, is not readable through the bag. The coil label reads 115-120V 60HZ and 110V 50HZ. The separate overload relay carton reads Bulletin 592 EUTECTIC OVERLOAD RELAY, NEMA SZ 0-1, CAT 592-EUTB, SER A, PRODUCT OF MEXICO, MAT NO. PN-66619 and PLANT 1040.

The starter and the overload relay are each in a clear plastic bag inside the shipping carton. The overload relay has a RESET button and a TRIPPED indicator, and a yellow strip across it reads HEATER ELEMENTS MUST BE INSTALLED PRIOR TO (the rest is cut off). No heater elements are shown in the photos. The package includes the Table 150 heater element selection sheet for Bulletin 509 sizes 0 and 1 and a warning label sheet. The starter has a red wire attached at the coil terminal and a side-mounted contact block with terminals 2 and 3. The unit appears unused. The outer carton shows dirt marks.

Sold as open box, unused. This unit has not been powered on or tested by MRO Exchange, and the coil, contacts and overload relay have not been verified.
