The Allen-Bradley 1785-LT B is a PLC-5/15 Processor Module from the Rockwell Automation 1785 PLC-5 family, catalog number 1785-LT B, Series B, Firmware Revision S, internal part number 96844475. This is a discontinued processor module, with end-of-life status from the manufacturer. The module requires 2.5 amps at 5 VDC from the backplane. It supports up to 512 discrete I/O points using any combination of 16-channel or 32-channel I/O modules, with built-in 6K word SRAM memory expandable to 14K words. Communications interfaces include a Data Highway Plus port and a Remote I/O port, with the DH+ port configurable as either a messaging link or a Universal Remote I/O scanner or adapter. The module also includes an RS-232 serial port for programming. Up to 12 remote I/O racks and up to 4 local racks are supported. Classification listing includes CL 1 DIV 2 GP A, B, C, D TEMP T5, indicating suitability for installation in Class 1 Division 2 hazardous locations.
