The Allen-Bradley 1771-P2 is an auxiliary power supply module for the Bulletin 1771 I/O system, designed to power a single 1771 I/O chassis when used with an adapter module, a 1772 Mini-PLC-2 processor, or a 1772 Mini-PLC-2/15 processor. Input voltage is selectable between 120 VAC and 220/240 VAC via jumper configuration, with an input rating of 75 VA. Output is 5.1 VDC at up to 6.5 amps. At 120 VAC operation the nominal input current is 0.75 A, with a normal operating range of 98 to 132 VAC. At 220/240 VAC operation the nominal input current is 0.38 A, with a normal operating range of 196 to 250 VAC. Maximum real input power at full load is 65 W, with an apparent input power of 90 VA. The unit is cataloged as CAT NO. 1771-P2, Series A, and was manufactured by Allen-Bradley GmbH, 5657 Haan, West Germany. A DC ON indicator is present on the front panel. Serial number SR0A06PZ is visible on the Schneider Electric identification tag attached to the unit. The 1771-P2 has been discontinued by the manufacturer as of December 31, 2017. This is a used surplus unit showing light cosmetic wear consistent with prior installation.
