The Allen Bradley 808-M3 is a high speed electromechanical speed switch from the Bulletin 808 product line, designed for use in motor control and machine protection applications. This Series F unit features a 4 point flange mounting configuration with normally open (N.O.) contacts and is housed in a NEMA Type 1, 4, and 13 enclosure suitable for indoor, outdoor, and oil tight industrial environments. The contact rating is B600, with a maximum operating voltage of 600V AC. The contact adjustment range covers 50 to 1000 RPM, with a maximum shaft speed rating of 2000 RPM. Typical applications include plugging and anti plugging control of AC motors, zero speed detection, overspeed protection, and direction of rotation sensing on conveyors, mixers, mills, fans, blowers, and other rotating industrial equipment. Construction includes a double shaft seal with long life precision bearings to support continuous duty service in demanding environments. The unit carries UL listing under file A191 for industrial control equipment, CSA certification, and CE marking.
