The Allen-Bradley 1756-IT6I2 is an enhanced isolated thermocouple and millivolt analog input module for the ControlLogix 1756 platform. Part number 96405675, Series A, packed factory sealed in original Allen-Bradley packaging on 2011/08/01 per the carton label. UPC 10612598299680. The module provides six individually isolated thermocouple or millivolt input channels and includes two integrated cold junction compensation sensors for precise temperature measurement. Compatible thermocouple types include B, E, J, K, R, S, T, N, C, D, and L (TXK/XK), with thermocouple linearization per ITS 90. Resolution is 16 bits with 1.4 microvolts per bit on the standard input range and 0.7 microvolts per bit on the high resolution range. Operating input ranges cover negative 12 to 78 mV and negative 12 to 30 mV. Backplane current draw is 200 mA at 5.1V and 150 mA at 24V, with total backplane power and maximum power dissipation of 4.6 W and thermal dissipation of 15.7 BTU per hour. The module requires the 1756-TBNH twenty pin removable terminal block for field wiring (sold separately). Features include channel to channel isolation, multiple input ranges, real time sampling, digital filtering, notch filter, wire off detection, under range and over range detection, process alarms, and rate alarm. Carries CE, KC (KCC REM RAA 1756 AI), and N223 markings. Suitable for installation in any ControlLogix chassis as local or distributed I/O.
