Product Description

This is an Ametek Gemco 950MD14.0A0B0CXX linear displacement transducer. The red nameplate reads Ametek Automation & Process Technologies, Gemco, 950MD14.0A0B0CXX, Clawson, MI 48017 U.S.A., with NP0040800 printed in the corner. A white label below it reads Ametek Automation & Process Technologies, 950MD14.0A0B0CXX, 730183, 2123, Peck, MI 48466 U.S.A. No voltage, output or stroke rating is shown on either label, so none are listed.

The unit has a stainless steel housing with two threaded tie rods and an end cap with a red-plugged port. Two mounting feet with slotted ends sit at the base of the housing. A long stainless rod extends below, with a stepped coupler section and a brass-colored rod end with an eye. Several black foam pads are fitted on the rod, and a clear plastic bag secured with cable ties is wrapped around part of the rod. The unit looks clean with no visible wear.
