A complete B&R X20 series remote I/O assembly centered on the X20BC0083 Ethernet POWERLINK bus controller, Rev. L0, manufactured in Austria. The X20BC0083 provides one POWERLINK interface with an integrated 2-port hub via dual RJ45 connectors, enabling daisy-chain network topology. It supports 100 Mbit/s Ethernet transfer rate and connects X2X Link I/O nodes to POWERLINK controlled networks. Certifications visible on the bus controller housing include CE, UL Listed, EAC, and ATEX.
The assembly includes the following B&R X20 series modules, as identified by visible module labels: one X20PS9400 internal power supply module, two X20DI9371 digital input modules (12-channel), two X20ZF0000 field terminal blocks, and one X20DO9322 digital output module. All modules are mounted on a B&R orange DIN rail base with field wiring terminals installed throughout. Terminal numbering labels in the 748 through 807 range are affixed to the field wiring positions across the assembly.
The asset was labeled PLC-0391 at the module housing and individual I/O modules carry sequential asset labels consistent with a single control system origin. The bus controller and all expansion modules are designed for IP20 rated cabinet installation and operate over an ambient temperature range of minus 25 to plus 60 degrees Celsius.
