Product Description

The Eaton RGH320039EC is an electronic molded case circuit breaker in the RGH-C frame, rated 2,000A at 690V AC in a 3-pole configuration, 50/60 Hz. Style number is 1486D08G10. It is equipped with an RG310+ trip unit, catalog number RT320039, and the trip unit face carries cause-of-trip indication for long time, short time, instantaneous and ground fault, along with a maintenance mode selector and a battery holder.

Interrupting capacity on the UL side of the nameplate is 125 kA at 240V AC, 65 kA at 480V AC and 50 kA at 600V AC. Under IEC 60947-2 the nameplate lists Icu and Ics of 135 kA and 100 kA at 240V, 70 kA and 50 kA at 415V, and 25 kA and 13 kA at 690V, with an impulse withstand of 8 kV and Category A classification.

The accessory block on the nameplate is marked for a shunt trip and an auxiliary switch. The under-voltage release and alarm/lockout boxes are not marked. Control wiring is landed on pre-wired secondary terminal blocks C1 to C12 and D1 to D12 on the rear face.

The nameplate states the conditions for 100% application: rear connectors B2016RDL or B2016RDLM must be used, the minimum enclosure size is 21.5 in high by 18 in wide by 13 in deep, and only 90°C wire with ampacity based on 75°C rated conductors may be used when cabling to rear connectors. Those rear connectors are not included with this breaker.
