Used in CNC turning centers equipped with BMT55 turrets, the Eppinger PRECI-FLEX R78683A is a straight drilling and milling live tool holder. Manufactured in Germany by Eppinger, the PRECI-FLEX system is built around a single base holder that accepts both standard ER collets and a range of PRECI-FLEX proprietary adapters, providing flexibility for multiple cutting tool configurations without changing the base unit. Construction features a compact steel housing with internal tapered roller bearings and precision-ground bearing surfaces, supporting demanding milling and drilling operations at the rated maximum speed of 4,000 RPM as indicated on the nameplate.
