Product Description

This is a Fanair AG ML 300/2 axial fan with motor. The nameplate reads FANAIR AG, Grossmatt Rain 1, CH-8964 Rudolfstetten, Type ML 300/2, Nr. 105705, 264/460 V, 60 Hz, 3 Phs, 1.6/1.1 A, 3400 min-1, Is. Kl. F, IP 33 and 0.4 kW. The plate is embossed and worn, so the numbers are listed as they appear in the photos.

The fan has a gray-blue painted steel tube housing with a mounting flange and bolt holes around the rim. The motor sits in the center of the housing on four angled struts, with a multi-blade impeller. A gray junction box with a cable gland is on the outside of the housing, and a flexible conduit runs from the housing to the motor. A paper tag on the housing is printed with terminal markings and connections for nine lead, three phase motors, with star connected and delta connected diagrams. Chipped paint, rust spots on the flange and scuffs on the housing are visible in the photos.

Sold as surplus, untested. This unit has not been powered on or tested by MRO Exchange, and the motor, impeller rotation and wiring have not been verified.
