The Fanuc A02B-0299-B802 is a Series 0i-TB CNC control basic unit manufactured in October 2004 by Fanuc Ltd. and supplied as a GE Fanuc CNC Express reconfigured assembly. The unit is identified with serial number E04X07230 and is marked on the secondary label as reconfigured as 0ITB-MCU61173-001R00. This is a 2 slot basic unit configuration intended for use on CNC lathes and turning centers running the Fanuc 0i-TB platform.

The assembly consists of a MAIN module and an I/O module housed in the yellow Fanuc enclosure. The MAIN section provides the battery holder for memory backup along with multiple connector positions for axis, spindle, and FSSB servo interface cabling. The I/O section provides the DI/DO connector positions labeled CB104 (DI/DO 1) and CB106 (DI/DO 2). Status indicators and a battery alarm position are present on the front face of the MAIN module.

The A02B-0299-B802 is the basic unit chassis only. A complete operating system requires additional plug in PCBs selected by the machine tool builder, including the main CPU card, optional graphics, PMC, and RAM/ROM cards, along with the matching LCD/MDI display and software. The basic unit is part of the Fanuc Series 0i Model B family used on a wide range of 0i-TB equipped CNC lathes from the mid 2000s era.

Markings visible on the unit include the FANUC LTD label, CE marking, MADE IN JAPAN origin, and the GE Fanuc CNC Express reconfiguration sticker.
