The GEC Durham Industries 105KP is a Type AB instrument current transformer with a 200:5A turns ratio, manufactured in New Bedford, MA. Designed for use in revenue grade metering and protective relaying applications, this unit steps down primary current to a 5 ampere secondary suitable for connection to standard ammeters, watt hour meters, and protective relays. The nameplate identifies an accuracy class of 0.3 at B 0.5 burden, a rating factor of 4.0 at 30 degrees C ambient, a 60 Hz frequency rating, a system voltage class of 0.6 kV, and a basic insulation level of 10 kV BIL.
