Used in Giddings and Lewis CNC control systems, this CMOS Dual Bus Memory Board carries assembly number 501-03883-00 and PCB fabrication number 502-03093, with the Giddings and Lewis Electronics logo visible in the upper right corner. The board is populated with a large array of HM6264LP-12 and HM6264LP-15 CMOS static RAM devices, each an 8K x 8 configuration, providing dual-bus memory access for the host CNC control backplane. Two bus connectors labeled J3-1 and J3-2 at the top edge facilitate the dual-bus architecture, with power supplied via PWR1 and PWR2 connectors labeled 5V VCCA and 5V VCC. A write protect slide switch (SW1) is located at the lower left, labeled ON, WRITE PROTECT, and OFF. Logic support ICs include LS640, LS273, LS244, LS240, LS283, LS257, LS138, LS375, LS340, LS682, LS00, LS04, LS11, LS10, and ALS240 devices from Texas Instruments and National Semiconductor. DDL-350 terminators are installed at the lower section. Additional sub-assembly stickers visible include 502-70172-00, 502-70174-00, and 502-70196-00. Connector CONN P1 and CONN P2 card-edge fingers are present on the right edge. Revision date stamped on silkscreen reads RB 1/84. Serial number 101700 is present at the lower edge. Through-hole construction throughout on a multi-layer green PCB with gold-plated edge connectors.
