Giddings and Lewis Executive Control Board, PCB board number 501-04301-02, catalog assembly number 502-03415-02. This large-format, multi-layer circuit board is part of the Giddings and Lewis 8000 and 8000B CNC control system, identified as the Executive Control Board in the G&L 8000 nest backplane architecture. The board is silkscreened "EXECUTIVE CONTROL BD." and carries the board number and catalog number in yellow silkscreen along the bottom edge, consistent with standard G&L 8000 board labeling conventions.

The board is populated with Zilog Z88C681CP/40 dual UART ICs, multiple SBX expansion connectors along the left edge, oscillator modules, Texas Instruments logic ICs, and numerous labeled subassembly EPROMs including 502-52996-00, 502-52995-00, 502-52994-00, and 502-52993-01 revision codes. Date codes visible on components indicate manufacture in the late 1980s. The board also features two 88C681CP/40 labeled CH1 and CH2 designators visible in photo 2.
