Product Description

This is a Giddings & Lewis 501-03865-01 processor module. The board silkscreen reads Processor Module, 501-03865-01, and a second number ending in -51 that is partly covered by a label. A label near the bottom edge reads 503-15651-03 with a barcode label beside it. The board is marked RA 11/85, and the Giddings & Lewis logo is on the board. A number is stamped near the bottom edge but is only partly legible, so no serial number is listed.

The board is populated with ICs, including a Motorola MC2661PB, an NEC D8259AC-2, an Intel 8086 type processor at IC-23, and four labeled EPROMs, along with other labeled ICs (502-70199-00, 502-70149-00, 502-70200-00, 502-53059-00). The IC-22 position marked 8087 appears to be an empty socket. The silkscreen marks Conn A Serial Port and Conn B Expansion Bus. Gold edge connectors run along the left, right and bottom sides, and ejector handles are at the top and bottom corners. The photo shows the board on bubble wrap.
