This is a used Giddings & Lewis Electronics processor module PCB assembly bearing part numbers 501-03865-01 and 502-03061-02, silkscreened directly on the board face. The Giddings & Lewis brand logo is printed on the board. The board is a large-format, multi-layer through-hole assembly designed for use as a CPU processor module in a Giddings & Lewis CNC control system. Visible active ICs include a gold-lid Intel processor at IC-14, Intel 8284 clock generator, Intel 8288 bus controller, NEC D8259AC-2 programmable interrupt controller, MC2661PB and MC68661PB serial communications ICs, and Motorola MC68B50P. Logic ICs include SN75188N, AM26LS30PCB, AM26LS32PC-B, SN74LS00N, SN74LS04M, SN74LS640N, SN74LS245N, SN74LS240N, SN74LS373N, SN74LS138N, SN74LS273N, SN74LS244N, SN79LS32N, DM74LS174N, DM74LS244N, DM74LS160AN, DM74LS32H, and DM74LS20N among others. EPROMs and RAM ICs are present at multiple positions including 502-57554-00, 502-57555-00, 502-03333-01, and 502-03354-01. Board sections visible include TERMINATION SELECTION jumpers for TX, RTS, and DTR on channels A and B, ASYNC interface header J1, EXPANSION BUS connector CONN B, and gold-edge card connector P1. Test points and trimmer potentiometer V3-1 are accessible on the board. Physical condition shows signs of prior installation and use.
