Used in Gould/SEL and Encore real-time minicomputer systems, the Communication Board with part number 501-03854-01 and assembly reference 502-03063-01 is a large-format, through-hole populated PCB designed for serial and digital I/O communication functions. This listing includes two matching boards. Silkscreen labeling on both boards identifies them as "COMMUNICATION BD" with revision and board test reference markings. The boards feature gold-edge card connectors on two sides, consistent with SELbus backplane integration used in Encore 32-series systems such as the 32/77 and 32/87. Component population includes HP 6N139 optocouplers, AM2841PC line receivers, DM74LS244N and DM74LS193N logic ICs, 80C98, DM74LS161AN counters, and F3341ADC devices, among others.
