The Honeywell C437E1012 is a gas and air pressure limit switch designed for industrial gas system applications including safety shutoff, pressure control, and differential pressure control. Part number C437E1012 features an SPST mercury switch with a pressure range of 1/2 to 5 PSIG, a differential of 1/4 PSI, and a manual lockout reset that requires operator action before the system can resume operation after a pressure fall event. The switch breaks on pressure fall and is not self-resetting.

Piping connections include a 1/2 in. NPT female port for the main or high pressure connection and a 1/8 in. NPT female port for the vent or low pressure connection. Maximum sustained operating pressure is 15.0 PSI (103.4 kPa). Switch contact ratings are 8.0 AFL at 120 VAC and 5.1 AFL at 240 VAC. Temperature rating is 32 F to 125 F (0 C to 52 C).

The unit carries UL Listing (File No. MP2168), CSA Certification (File No. LR1620), Factory Mutual Approval (Report Nos. 22018 and 24127), and Industrial Risk Insurers acceptance. The enclosed setting helps impede tampering and provides dust-resistant operation. A clear glass cover allows visual observation of the interior mechanism to aid in setpoint adjustment.

The date code stamped on the box is 0544. This model is discontinued by the manufacturer and has been superseded by mercury-free C437E Series 2000 models. The unit contains mercury and must be disposed of or recycled in accordance with applicable local or state environmental codes.
