The Hurst Model T synchronous AC gearmotor, part number 2602-006, is a permanent magnet geared instrument motor rated at 10 RPM, 7 watts, 115 volts, 60 Hz. It carries a capacitor rating of 0.68 MFD and is manufactured by Hurst Manufacturing Division of Emerson Co., Princeton, Indiana. The item is also cross-referenced under Grainger part number 6Z133. Permanent magnet construction provides inherent dynamic braking characteristics and low rotor speed output. The compact square-frame housing is made of steel with a front face plate, and the motor includes two output shaft positions — one axial and one perpendicular — visible in the photos.
