Used in Mazak CNC machining centers and other MELDAS-controlled machine tools, the Mitsubishi Electric MR-S12 series is a dual axis AC servo amplifier designed to drive two servo axes simultaneously from a single compact assembly. The unit pictured includes the RG201 control board (marked RG 201 B5), an RG221 intermediate board, and an RG20-series power base mounted on a finned aluminum heatsink chassis. An internal Fuji Electric ETG81-050 power transistor module is visible in the power section. The multi-layer PCB assembly features an AMP STATUS LED display, multiple large-format connectors for CNC feedback and axis interface, and a terminal block strip for power and signal connections. The assembly is manufactured in Japan, consistent with Mitsubishi Electric's MELDAS servo drive production.
