Used in industrial and commercial electrical installations, the O-Z/Gedney FS275 is a Type FS-2 shallow cast device box designed for use with 3/4 in. threaded rigid metal conduit and IMC. Manufactured by EGS Electrical Group under the O-Z/Gedney UNILETS brand, this 2-gang, dead-end style box features a single 3/4 in. threaded hub, ridge top construction for positive cover and gasket fit, and an internal ground screw. The box body is constructed of gray iron alloy with a zinc electroplated finish for corrosion resistance. Internal capacity is 33.2 cu-in. Overall dimensions are 4-11/16 in. height x 4-11/16 in. width x 2-3/8 in. depth. Rated for use in both indoor and outdoor applications; raintight when used with a gasketed cover per UL 514A requirements. Third-party certifications include UL File Number E-18095 and CSA 009795. Complies with UL 514A, CSA C22.2 No. 18, Federal Specification A-A-50563, and NEMA FB-1 standards. Suitable for surface mounting as a wiring device enclosure, pull box, or conduit junction point.
