The Reliance Electric 0-60021-4 is a PMI Processor Module from the AutoMax platform, designed for integration within PMI rack-based drive control systems. It functions as the central processing unit within the Power Module Interface rack, executing the motor control algorithm and managing all rack-level communications. The module transmits and receives data over a fiber-optic link, interfacing with the UDC module to exchange I/O values, speed feedback data, and diagnostic results.
The faceplate carries LED status indicators including OK and COMM OK green lights, along with P.M. FLT, EXT FLT, and RAIL FLT red fault indicators. A four-port meter block labeled P1 provides analog output access. Two fiber-optic communication ports (P2 XMT and P3 RCV) and two AutoMate rail ports (P4 and P5, labeled 0 and 1) are also present on the faceplate. The rear edge of the board includes an additional connector for rack installation.
