The unit is rated to a maximum speed of 10,000 RPM (n_max 10,000 1/min as stamped on the nameplate), placing it in the high-speed range suitable for precision turning applications. The assembly mounts via a square flange configuration and features a hollow-shaft design consistent with Röhm's series of through-bore actuating cylinders intended for pneumatic or hydraulic actuation of power chucks and collet chucks on CNC spindles.
