Used in CNC lathes and turning centers, this Röhm rotary chuck actuating cylinder assembly carries part number 000.666.956 and serial number 274 964, manufactured in Germany and CE marked. The unit is rated to a maximum speed of 10,000 RPM (n_max 10,000 1/min as stamped on the nameplate), placing it in the high-speed range suitable for precision turning applications. The assembly mounts via a square flange configuration and features a hollow-shaft design consistent with Röhm's series of through-bore actuating cylinders intended for pneumatic or hydraulic actuation of power chucks and collet chucks on CNC spindles.

Included with the cylinder assembly is an integrated Deublin rotary union, model 1111-002-105 (Made in Germany, serial number 471165807), which provides rotating media passage for air or coolant supply through the spindle axis during rotation. A multi-pin electrical connector is attached to the body, consistent with stroke monitoring or proximity sensor wiring. A separate pneumatic solenoid valve and fitting assembly is also included. The cylinder flange surface and output bore show signs of prior installation and normal service use.

Röhm GmbH, founded in 1909 and based in Germany, is a globally recognized manufacturer of lathe chucks, clamping cylinders, and workholding systems used across automotive, aerospace, and precision machining industries.
