The Siemens HNF361 is a heavy duty non fused safety switch rated for 30 amps at 600 VAC and 250 VDC. Configured as a 3 pole, 3 wire single throw disconnect, it provides a horsepower rated means of isolating motor and feeder circuits for service or lockout. The NEMA Type 1 enclosure is intended for indoor general purpose use and features a quick make, quick break operating mechanism, embossed ON/OFF nameplate, and a defeatable cover interlock that keeps the door closed when the switch is in the ON position. Internal construction includes a hinged clear line terminal shield with probe holes for testing line side terminals, front removable mechanical lugs suitable for copper or aluminum conductors at 60 or 75 degrees C, and a Type VBII operating handle assembly with positive stop. Cover provisions accept up to three padlocks for lockout tagout compliance. As a non fused unit, the HNF361 is typically applied as a service disconnect where overcurrent protection is provided upstream. UL listed for branch circuit disconnect applications.
