The Timken Torrington TRD-3244 is a TR series thrust roller bearing washer with a 2 inch inner diameter, 2 3/4 inch outer diameter, and 1/8 inch width (50.8 x 69.85 x 3.2 mm). Designed for use as a raceway surface with NTA-3244 needle roller and cage thrust assemblies in applications where adjacent shaft or housing surfaces cannot serve as raceways, this washer functions either as a shaft piloted bore washer or a housing piloted outer diameter washer. Both faces are flush ground to serve as raceways, enabling higher operating speeds and improved running accuracy compared to unground surfaces. Construction is low alloy, through hardened chromium bearing steel for resistance to deformation under heavy axial loads and elevated temperatures. The TR designation indicates a thicker washer profile within the Torrington TR series, paired with NTA 3244 cages rated for 2 inch bore thrust applications. Common uses include machine tool drive shafts, automotive steering gears and clutches, transmission assemblies, rotary tables, outboard motor propeller shafts, hydraulic pumps, and industrial gearboxes.
