A large fabricated steel right angle plate available for use in horizontal machining centers, boring mills, and general machine shop setup operations. The vertical face measures approximately 48 in. high by 48 in. wide and features a uniform grid of drilled and tapped holes for direct workpiece clamping without the need for T-slot hardware. Base depth is approximately 27 in., providing a stable footprint when the plate is positioned on a machine table or floor plate. An integrated eye bolt at the top of the vertical face allows for crane or hoist-assisted positioning. The rear of the plate shows ribbed fabricated steel construction designed to resist deflection under load. Overall construction is welded fabricated steel. No manufacturer name, model number, or serial number is present on the piece. The tapped face grid pattern accommodates a wide range of fixture clamps, angle blocks, and strap clamp assemblies. At this size and mass, this angle plate is suited to support large weldments, castings, or fabricated components requiring precise 90-degree orientation relative to the machine spindle. The base perimeter includes bolt-down holes for securing the plate to a machine table or surface plate. Useful in job shops, aerospace, and heavy equipment manufacturing environments where large workpiece setups are required.
