Used in B&R X20 series distributed I/O systems, the X20BC0083 is an Ethernet POWERLINK bus controller that connects X2X Link I/O nodes to a POWERLINK network. The module features an integrated 2-port hub with two RJ45 connectors, enabling daisy-chain or ring topology wiring without an external switch. It supports POWERLINK V1 and V2 controlled node operation and allows the X2X Link cycle to run synchronously 1:1 or with a prescaler relative to the POWERLINK cycle. I/O configuration and firmware updates are performed directly via the fieldbus.
