The Browning VPS-323 is a two-bolt cast iron pillow block ball bearing unit with a 1-7/16 in. bore, manufactured by Browning, a Regal Rexnord brand. The insert bearing is visibly marked "VS-323" and "AJ" on the inner race face, consistent with Browning's standard VS series ball insert designation for this bore size. A bronze-colored outer race ring is visible, characteristic of Browning's land riding retainer design. The one-piece cast iron housing features a high-base profile with two slotted bolt holes for surface mounting, and a grease fitting is installed at the top of the housing for field relubrication. The VPS series uses a setscrew locking collar to secure the inner ring to the shaft. Single lip contact seal and flinger construction protects against contaminants while retaining lubrication.
