Used in general industrial, pump, fan, and conveyor applications, the Dayton 2N865T is a 1/2 HP three-phase AC induction motor built on a NEMA 56 frame. It operates on 208-230/460V AC at 60 Hz with full-load amperage of 1.9-1.9/0.9A, and is also rated for 50 Hz operation at 208-220/440V, 1425 RPM per the secondary nameplate label. At 60 Hz, nameplate RPM is 1725. The enclosure is TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled), duty rated Continuous, with insulation class B and a maximum ambient temperature of 40 degrees C. Service factor is 1.0. NEMA nominal efficiency is rated at 72.0. Shaft and opposite end bearings are both 6203. The motor reference numbers visible on the nameplate are R060116T and F401B. LR KVA code is L. Manufactured by Dayton Electric Mfg. Co., Niles, IL 60714 USA. The three-phase design accepts both 208-230V wye and delta configurations as well as 460V wiring, with lead diagrams printed on the nameplate. This motor is reversible by interchanging any two line leads.
