The Ergodyne Chill-Its 6665 is an evaporative cooling vest designed for workers exposed to high heat environments. This unit is size XL in gray (silver), part number 6665, UPC 720476125457. Construction consists of a 100 percent quilted nylon outer fabric paired with a 100 percent nylon inner fabric, featuring polymer embedded material that retains water for extended cooling relief. The vest uses a V neck configuration with a full length front zipper closure and black cotton poly elastic trim along the edges. Mesh side panels are integrated for ventilation and stretch. A water repellent liner is positioned to reduce interior wetness while the vest is active. Activation is performed by submerging the vest in clean water for 1 to 2 minutes until the desired weight is reached, then blotting dry. The polymer fabric remains hydrated for several hours and can be reactivated by resoaking. Care requires hand washing with mild soap in warm water followed by air drying.
