The Eurotherm Drives 590 DRV Digital DC Drive, catalog number 955D8R62, is a regenerative DC armature drive from the 590 DRV series. It accepts a 3-phase main supply of 480 or 230 VAC (+10%) at 50/60 Hz with a maximum input of 85 amps. The armature output is rated at 500 or 240 VDC at up to 99 amps, supporting motor sizes of 60 HP at 500 VDC and 30 HP at 240 VDC. The auxiliary field supply accepts 500 VAC, single-phase, 50/60 Hz at 10 amps, with a field output of 300 or 150 VDC. An auxiliary output of 120/115 VAC, single-phase, 0.75 amps is also provided. Overload capacity is rated at 200% full load current for 10 seconds. The DRV platform integrates all auxiliary power components within the drive enclosure, eliminating the need for external field controller panels. The unit carries serial number 9734U550455 and revision REV 6.09. Options listed on the nameplate include the 654D-RS422 communications card, 655-ENRX encoder feedback option, and 655-MTRX metric option, ordered separately. The 590 DRV series is a product of Eurotherm Drives, which was subsequently branded as SSD Drives and Parker SSD.
