Used in Fanuc CNC Series 6A and 6B control systems, the A20B-0008-0540 is a large-format I/O board providing 96 discrete inputs and 64 discrete outputs for machine tool interface and control. The board carries the primary part number A20B-0008-0540 silkscreened on the component side and the reverse side is marked A350-0008-T544/01, both confirmed visible in the photos. Manufactured in Japan by Fanuc. The board is mounted in a gold-anodized aluminum carrier frame with multiple blue IDC edge connectors labeled CO1 through CO5 along one side, and additional blue and burgundy connectors along the opposite edge for CNC and machine interface cabling. The component side features arrays of through-hole ICs including MB74LS174 and 74406P series logic devices, a dense resistor network section with brown SIP resistor packs, and discrete logic components. A green LED indicator is visible near the lower connector cluster. This board is compatible with Fanuc Series 6 controls and can replace the earlier A20B-0007-0040 I/O board per published cross-reference data. Connector labels visible include CDA, CDB, and numbered I/O headers consistent with Series 6 DI/DO interface wiring.
