Used in Fanuc Series 15A CNC control systems, the A20B-1003-0240 is the I/O Connection Unit 2 board responsible for routing discrete input and output signals between the CNC controller and machine peripherals. The board supports 96 inputs and 64 outputs, accommodating the high I/O density required by large-format machining centers and transfer lines running under Fanuc 15A control. Five external connector modules labeled CO1 through CO5 are attached to the front edge of the board, each carrying multi-conductor cables that interface with field devices such as limit switches, solenoids, and auxiliary relays. The PCB silkscreen reads A20B-1003-0240 / 08B, with revision suffix 08B indicating a later revision of the base part number A20B-1003-0240.
